Shipping & Terms

Shipping:

Most of Oregon Perennial Company’s rootstock is dug and ready for shipment in the fall.  If winter or spring deliveries better suit your needs, please let us know.  Our coolers provide us the ability to offer shipping options throughout much of the year.

Minimum order quantity for rootstock is two standard packages per shipment.  Smaller quantities and boxes may be available for an additional charge.  Plants are shipped in trays or cardboard boxes based upon customer request and freight company requirements.

All shipments are F.O.B. our warehouse at 18125 Arbor Grove Road NE, Woodburn, Oregon 97071.  Customer is responsible for any insurance while the plants are in transit.

Rootstock sizes vary within and between varieties.

Because quantities per box vary for different plant types, packaging costs are additional and listed separately on the invoices. For standard counts per package, please see our availability lists.  Standard packaging costs are as follows: $3.50 per box, $3.50 per tray, $6.00 per pallet. With prior approval, the trays and pallets, in Oregon Perennial Company approved condition, may be returned for credit.

PRODUCT CLAIMS MUST BE REPORTED WITHIN 10 DAYS OF RECEIPT.  UPON ARRIVAL, PLEASE OPEN THE PLASTIC LINERS IN YOUR BOXES OR TRAYS TO ALLOW THE LIVING PLANTS TO BREATHE.  STORE IN A COOL (LESS THAN 40^o F) AND DRY LOCATION.  PLANT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. OREGON PERENNIAL COMPANY IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR PLANTS DAMAGED AFTER THEY LEAVE OUR WAREHOUSE.

Payment Terms:

Customers with approved credit may pay Net 30 Days from Date of Invoice.

For non-credit-approved customer orders, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required prior to acceptance and final confirmation of the order.  The remaining balance must be received in full prior to shipping.  For spring shipments, payment in full must be received by January 15th, or within 10 days, to hold your order.

Our prices are based upon Cash, Check, or Wire Transfer payments. If a customer wishes to pay by a credit or debit card, we are happy to accept their payments but will add a 3% telephone service charge to the invoice.

Oregon Perennial Company offers credit/debit card payment options to our customers as a way to pay their invoices. With this service, we process your payment when you click the Submit button. By agreeing to our terms and conditions you acknowledge that you are personally responsible for making the charge to your bankcard.

Prices are subject to change without notice. However, confirmed orders will be invoiced at the acknowledged prices.

Because we are all subject to the whims of Mother Nature, there may be those rare times when growth is less than expected.  We are conservative in our estimates but if sufficient plants are not available to meet orders, we reserve the right to adjust the orders and refund any deposits as needed.  Perhaps we can offer another variety that meets your needs.  We will not make substitutions without your consent.
